There will be many new faces at St. Boniface next year as 5 staff members this year will be leaving. The staff and students bid farewell to Henry Bink who for 22 years was the grade 7 / 8 teacher at St. Boniface. A huge retirement party to celebrate his retirement took place at Golf Steak House in Kitchener on Thursday, June 20th with former staff and students on hand to wish him well.
Joanna Mazza who for 9 years was in the one classroom and taught Junior / Senior kindergarten, will be moving to John Sweeney School in the Fall. Tiffany Roth who also taught the other Junior / Senior Kindergarten class for 5 years will be moving closer to her home and will be teaching at Holy Family in New Hamburg.
Leisha Huber after 8 years at St. Boniface has accepted a position at St. Agnes School in Waterloo. Lastly is Lauren Huston who for only one year taught the grade 1 class. Her term is up at St. Boniface and will be teaching kindergarten at St. Dominic Savio in Kitchener.
While everyone is sad to lose such wonderful teachers they wish them all well in the coming year.
