The region’s four rural townships are in the spotlight during the annual Taste the Countryside event, which kicks off today (Thursday).
For the next 10 days, a dining trail will feature stops in Wellesley, Woolwich, Wilmot and North Dumfries.
“The initiative shines a spotlight on the region’s rich agricultural roots and diverse culinary talent, bringing restaurants, farms and producers into the spotlight to share their passion with the community and highlight farm to fork,” said Kurtis Wells, Woolwich’s economic development and tourism officer.
