Students from the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier and Conestoga College are raising funds with a charity fashion show this weekend.
The student-run, nonprofit organization Fashion for Change promotes fashion and artistic expression.
The show involves 100 participants, including 36 models walking down the runway, and dance performances that tell tales from classic stories like Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, The Handmaid’s Tale and Frankenstein, as they hope to raise $5,000 to support Women’s Crisis Services of the Waterloo Region.
