Canadian entrepreneurs working at the intersection of food, farming and technology will soon have a new resource to help them scale their ideas.

The University of Guelph’s Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) has been named an affiliate site of the Creative Destructive Lab–Rockies (CDL-Rockies) AgriFood stream. This partnership links startup founders with world-class expertise in science, business and agri-innovation.

Through the collaboration, participants can connect with an international network of mentors and researchers, including OAC faculty, to develop, test, and commercialize technologies that advance sustainable and secure food systems. Areas of focus include precision and digital agriculture, biotechnology, food safety, animal health and environmental systems.
