I think it is widely accepted that we hunters and anglers notice strange things that others do not. For instance, last week I saw evidence that the herd of firearms in my gun cabinet had reproduced. The proof was a new addition – a cute, little bolt-action .22 calibre rifle, complete with scope, just like his daddy. It reminded me of that time last spring when the fly rods in my collection spawned.
This week, however, I saw something that I had never witnessed before. No, it was not the top shelf. It was even more unlikely than that.
