Wellesley’s Marilyn Hartung says Christmas is her favourite time of year, and every festive season she goes all out.
On November 1 each year, Hartung begins the one-month process of covering every spare inch of her house – including a Victorian-style dining room for high tea – with has many Christmas trees, gingerbread houses and Santa dolls as she can.
Along with her kitchen smelling like gingerbread mixed with cranberries, she keeps hot cider warm for her visitors who drop by on a couple of weekends this month.
