The Woodland Christian High School FIRST Robotics 4678 CyberCavs team is knee-deep in wires and metal as they prepare for their first competition later this month.

The 40 students are focused on getting their creation, a 121.6-pound robot, ready for the competition at the University of Waterloo at the end of the month.

Currently, the bot is about six pounds overweight and will need to shed a few pounds before it can compete.
