The Woolwich Wave swimmers made a splash last weekend, competing at the SWORSA finals in New Hamburg.

Additionally, just before the finals, eight-year-old Amelia McLachlan broke the 100m individual medley (IM) at the South Western Ontario Recreational Swimming Association semi-final in Fergus.

McLachlan, who had to swim one length of each of the back crawl, front crawl, breaststroke and butterfly, did so with a time of 1:56.19.
