After three years working with Julie Dorney, the English Springer Spaniel is ready to graduate as a full-time psychiatric service dog

The funny, goofy and energetic Venture is set to graduate as a psychiatric service dog this month. 

While it’s not a common role for English Springer Spaniels such as this three-year-old pup, Julie Dorney thought the Breslau-based Partners with Paws should train one. 

They are “very, very intelligent” but “they have an exuberant amount of energy to blow off, so it doesn’t usually mesh well with psychiatric disabilities,” she explained.
