Looking to meet demand for homes, a Breslau developer wants to change designated employment land to residential use.
Guelph-based Thomasfield Homes is seeking official plan and zoning amendments to some 43 hectares (106 acres) of land in its Hopewell Crossing subdivision. That would allow for more than 600 new homes on land at Victoria Street and Greenhouse Road.
The changes apply to a large block of land at 2699 Victoria St. N. – approximately 43 hectares – and a one-hectare plot on the east side of Greenhouse Road.
