Every other month from September to June, community members gather at the Elmira library branch for a unique book club focused on non-fiction environmental literature.
The initiative was launched in 2024 by Tricia Brubacher, a member of the Township of Woolwich Environmental Enhancement Committee (TWEEC). Her goal was to create a community outreach project that sparks meaningful conversations about the planet.
“There’s many different ways to tackle big problems,” Brubacher said, emphasizing that local dialogue is a powerful starting point.
