What happens if a parent can’t find conflict resolution with a teacher, or even a principal?
Thanks to two newly introduced student and family support offices introduced in the Waterloo Region school boards this week, there is a new destination for escalating complaints. Rolling out across the province this year, there are now 72 dedicated centres to help navigate community concerns.
With a goal of responding within two days, and reaching a resolution within five, these offices are not physical locations but simply additional man-power being made available through already existing offices.
