Elmira’s Maddie Maguire was awarded a $3,000 scholarship from the Municipal Retirees Organization Ontario (MROO).
“I feel very grateful and honoured to get this fellowship,” said Maguire, who is studying nursing at Conestoga College.
The MROO is a not-for-profit organization that advocates for the interests of OMERS retirees across the province since 1977.
