The Elmira Sugar Kings headed into the holidays riding a five-game winning streak, posting two more victories on the weekend before the break.
With a record of 24-4-1, the Kings remain in second place in the GOHL’s Western Conference, two points back of the Chatham Maroons (24-5-1-2), but with three games in hand.
A 5-3 win over the Stratford Warriors on December 19 with a 1-0 decision over the visiting Strathroy Rockets on December 21.
