Having the previous weekend got back into the win column, the Elmira Sugar Kings had to settle for split in last week’s games, defeating Komoka 7-0 and then dropping a 4-3 decision to Stratford.
As a result, the Kings dropped a spot to seventh in the GOHL’s Western Conference standings with a record of 6-8-1.
Head coach Cory McRae said he liked what he saw from the team in both games.
