Local charities received numerous donations to support those in need during the holiday season.
The Wellesley Food Cupboard, for instance, raised more than $28,000 from its Festive Forty campaign.
Woolwich Community Services’ Christmas Goodwill fundraiser was able to reach 245 households – 637 individuals, including 305 children.
