Summer turned out only a half degree warmer than normal, as earlier this month brought severe weather to Wellesley Township, but weather guru David Phillips says the upcoming fall should be milder than normal.
With the equinox, the new season will begin next week on September 22 at precisely 8:04 p.m.
The senior climatologist from Environment Canada predicts that this autumn season is likely to be fairly warm.
“I’m not talking about July warmth. I’m talking about fall warmth,” he explained, as the milder weather is due to the warming of the globe’s bodies of water.
