It was kind of like having two babies at once.
When Ever Care Pharmacy & Clinic opened earlier this year in Elmira, owners Salik Hashmi and Aleena Aslam had just welcomed their first son – the Narnia-inspired Azlan. Now the family is preparing for both their clinic and their offspring to start growing, with a vision of bringing on more staff and doctors to meet a community need.
They named their enterprise Ever Care, with green-themed branding, because they’re aiming to be a breath of fresh air for local patients.
“Our theme is green, because I think it symbolizes care and nature, things like that. The name resonated with me because it’s something that I want to provide. I always want to be able to provide good quality care and be accessible to patients,” Aslam told The Observer.
