As soon as the ladies started arriving they were busy around the quilting frame to begin knotting a quilt. This quilt will be donated to the Mennonite Central Committee

There were also smaller comforters which will be donated to the Pediatric Ward of Grand River hospital.

Each member was also asked to bring a “stuffy” for donation to the Conestogo and Maryhill Fire Departments. Kathleen Snyder and Brenda Hallman have volunteered to place each stuffed animal in a clear plastic before giving to the fire departments. This way the fireman can carry them always in their trucks knowing they will always be in good condition when given out when needed.
