Regional property taxes are set to climb to nearly $3,000 for local residents in 2026 after council approved a 5.1 per cent increase.
The average bill will rise by $145 to $2,991 in Woolwich and by $142 to $2,977 in Wellesley – with the difference due to slightly different home values.
Once separate, smaller township and education levies are factored in, residents in both areas can now expect their combined annual property taxes to top $5,000.
