After the Crosshill Mennonite Church took a step back from organizing the Road Hockey Challenge last year, the Twin Centre Minor Hockey Association kept it going.
This year, the two groups will be working in tandem for the tourney next month.
“We thought we wanted to reach out to the community, and wanted to respect what they had done last year, and we approached them,” said one of the organizers, Marty Schwende, of the groups joining forces.
