St. Jacobs’ Dante Del Cul claimed gold in the men’s para 60m at the U Sports Track and Field Championship earlier this month.
Del Cul crossed the finish line in 8.24 seconds during the event, held in Manitoba on March 5-7.
“It was a surreal experience,” added the athlete, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) at six months old.
