The Woodland Christian High School senior girls’ basketball team became the OFSAA Girls’ A champions, defeating Barrie’s Nouvelle-Alliance High School 73-29.
Head coach Stu Julius said repeating as provincial champions was their goal at the beginning of the season.
“We’re really happy with it,” the coach said, noting the team has gone undefeated within District 8 for three years running.
