Enova Power Corp is again supporting local tree-planting initiatives in Waterloo Region. The company last week announced it would present a total of $250,000 in reforestation grants to local municipal partners, including Kitchener, Waterloo, Woolwich, Wilmot and Wellesley.
As part of a multi-year effort to support local tree canopy, each municipal partner will receive $50,000 toward tree-planting initiatives in its community.
Woolwich spokesperson Rae Ann Bauman said the township is grateful for another year of support for local green initiatives from Enova.
