The Woolwich Wildcats U11BB team finished second in the playoffs this season.
“The boys worked their butts off, and they had to do that all year, given where we started,” said coach Mark Dawson.
“We didn’t really spend much time or focus chasing wins in October, November, or December. But we had a plan to hopefully come together for January and February, and as luck would have it, that happened,” he added, noting their record before playoffs was 26-6-19-1.
