It is with great regret that we announce the peaceful passing of Ray Berge on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at WRHN at Chicopee, Freeport Campus surrounded by family at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Loraine (Loveday) Berge for 66 years. Loving father of David (Gail), and Wayne. Cherished grandpa of Aaron (Catherine), Cameron (Sagal), and great-grandpa of Liam; Jennah and Reyanne. Brother and brother-in-law of Joan, Ron (Shirley), Marilyn (Marylu), Cliff (Martha), Ruth (Pete) Van Kooy, Pat (Wayne) Pickering, and John Loveday. Predeceased by his parents George and Alice Berge, and brother-in-law Peter Loveday. Ray lost his battle with a terminal and highly aggressive form of cancer only a few months after being diagnosed. Ray was passionate about driving truck, farming, and especially in displaying his vehicles at antique car shows. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
