The EDSS FIRST Robotics 4917 team is busy with wires and metal as they prepare for their open house on March 7.
The 46 students are all focused on getting their creation, a 50-pound robot dubbed Sir Lancerbot, ready for its upcoming competitions.
This year, notified by FIRST Robotics that they’ll have to deal with an archaeology theme, the students are busy brainstorming ideas on how to design the robot accordingly, which can be like piecing all the parts together in an origami fashion.
