It doesn’t matter whether you’re a high school student, a prominent business person or a dedicated volunteer – all could end up on the nominee list for Wellesley Citizen of the Year at the annual fall fair.
“What makes a citizen of the year? Somebody who really stands out to us, who has contributed a lot to the community. Their names are often familiar to us because they do so much,” organizer Wendy Richardson told the Observer.
“Sometimes it’s what they’ve done in a year. Sometimes it’s what they’ve done throughout the years.”
