Tina Fey’s musical comedy Mean Girls makes it to the local stage this week in a Drayton Entertainment Youth Academy’s production at the Hamilton Family Theatre in Cambridge.

Among the 57 youth involved in the show is Wellesley’s Connor Foran, who portrays Martin J. Under the direction of Jackie Mustakas, the musical tells the story of a new girl, Cady Heron, at North Shore High, who is desperate to fit in and find friends after years of homeschooling in Africa.

She soon befriends outcasts Janis and Damian, and the trio then devises a plan for revenge on Regina George, the leader of the clique known as ‘the plastics.’
