It’s been 15 years since Trees for Woolwich planted its very first sapling. Today, the organization’s growth stands as a local success story and a testament to the power of community action.

The volunteer-driven group originally set out in 2011 with a simple goal: plant one tree for every resident in Woolwich Township, back when the population hovered around 23,000. By 2017, volunteers had achieved that milestone. Now, the total number of trees planted has surpassed 100,000, and the group has no intention of slowing down.
