Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in his 86th year. Isaac Brubacher of Wallenstein was the beloved husband of Leona Brubacher. Dear father of Wayne (Wilma) Brubacher, Ray (Elsie) Brubacher, both of Wallenstein, and Doreen (Wayne) Gingrich of Arthur. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Brother of Clarence (Elmeda) Brubacher, Emmanuel (Velina) Brubacher, and brother-in-law of Lovina Brubacher, and Sarah Brubacher. Predeceased by his parents John and Lovina Brubacher, one grandson, brothers Israel and Henry, and sisters Elizabeth and Susannah. Visitation for relatives and friends took place on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 5-8 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, and on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 1-5 p.m. at the home of Isaac Brubacher, 5764 Buehler Line, Wallenstein. A private family service was held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the home of Isaac Brubacher, then to Weaverland Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
