In the basement Fran Vegh was set up with several various crafts for the young people to work on and enjoy.

At 2 p.m. Mary Ann Stroh and Diane Strickler took a group people for a walking tour in the “Old Walled” cemetery.

We were honoured to have Harold Albrecht, MP., Michael Harris MPP along with Ward 3 Woolwich Councillor Murray Martin to help with the raising of the Canadian Flag. We thank these gentlemen for taking time out of their busy schedules to help with the raising of the flag. Thank you to Harold Albrecht for presenting the Historical Society with the flag. Thank you also to our own Carol Neumann who was able to have the new Historical Society flag ready for Canada Day as well. Carol also had the new business cards for the society available for all the members.

Ward 3 Woolwich Councillor Murray Martin, Harold Albrecht M.P., Historical Society president Tom Schell, Michael Harris M.P.P. and maintenance convenor for the Historical Society Brian Lorentz who had installed the flagpole.

On the porch members and visitors sat and sang along with Al Hurtle as he played and sang many of the old favourites.

A car and farm tractor show was a highlight for the days as well with people reminiscing with the owners. These vehicles were parked in front of the school.

A special thank you to program chairman Ken Kurtz and his wife Sheila who made the beautiful bunting decorations and put together some of the crafts for the young people.
