The Woolwich Junior Thrashers sledge hockey team were undefeated at the London Blizzard Tournament, capturing the top prize.
This win became the squad’s first gold at the tourney, after last year’s silver.
“I feel proud of them, they worked hard, and they showed great teamwork, said Carrie Deckert, the team manager of the competition on the January 16-18 weekend.
