Ducks, which are known to be lovable and intelligent, are at the centre of the newest 4-H Club taking place in Conestogo.
Maria Bushey decided to start the domestic duck club after seeing young people’s interest in the webbed-footed creature.
“Ducks are a bit friendlier than chickens, so I find that kids like to handle them more… and they just seem to also be popular,” she explained.
