Aside from keeping the site in public hands and focusing on recreation options, community feedback thus far shows no clear choice on potential uses for the old arena and rec. centre in Wellesley.
Councillors meeting this week voted to continue the process to select a preferred direction, however.
“We’ve reached a significant milestone in the project in that we have some direction moving forward and some guidance in terms of establishing a preferred concept, which would come back to the new council after the election,” said Steve Wever of the GSP Group.
