An Elmira Heat squad captured the silver at the OSSA U15 Elimination Tournament last weekend, and they’re now preparing to head across the country for nationals.
“Absolutely ecstatic,” said head coach Casey Halstead. “They played amazingly; we’ve worked a long time for this.”
Halstead, who has coached this team for about four years now, said reaching the 2026 Canadian U15 Softball Championship has been the team’s main goal from the beginning.
